So, who am I?
I am a passionate advocate for social justice and equity, I utilize both qualitative and quantitative data to scrutinize policy implementation and assess its impact. My advocacy extends to gender inclusion and equity in the labor force, as well as immigrant integration, where I strive to devise policies for improved processes benefiting visible minorities.
Creating a more equitable world
A more equitable world necessitates systemic change across all spheres of society. It demands dismantling barriers to access and opportunity, addressing systemic biases, and advocating for fair treatment and representation. By fostering inclusivity, promoting diversity, and championing justice, we pave the way towards a world where everyone can thrive.
My Interests
As a Public Policy professional and Global Affairs Specialist, I am deeply committed to advancing global development goals, with a particular focus on United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 5: Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls. My interest in this area drives my engagement with initiatives that promote gender equality and address challenges faced by women and girls across various contexts.
Through my work, I strive to integrate gender considerations into policy analysis and program development, ensuring that policies are inclusive and equitable. This commitment extends to advocating for policies that support women's economic participation, access to education, and legal rights. My expertise in global affairs enhances my ability to collaborate with international organizations, governments, and non-government entities to push forward the agenda of gender equality on a global scale.
My background in project management intersects with my policy interests by enabling me to strategically design and execute initiatives that support the integration of migrants and immigrants into the Global North. Certified by the Project Management Institute, I leverage my skills to ensure that these initiatives are effectively aligned with broader policy goals and are managed with precision and efficiency.
Utilizing my project management expertise, I collaborate with various stakeholders, including government agencies, non-profits, and community groups, to develop projects that facilitate meaningful integration. These projects are tailored to address the specific needs of immigrants, focusing particularly on employment opportunities, educational programs, and social integration, with a keen emphasis on promoting gender equality in line with SDG 5.
Through comprehensive planning, rigorous risk assessment, and adept stakeholder engagement, I ensure that these projects are not only successful in meeting their immediate objectives but also sustainable and adaptable to future needs. This approach helps create a more inclusive and welcoming environment for migrants, thereby enriching the social and economic fabric of host communities.
